hair-cut?! ranted on September the 12th
Whew, been a while eh Luckettopia! I’ve been down on the surface world visiting places and people, and having my hair murdered. Yes, so the long red hair is gone, replace my short spikyness, which means I will have to update the splash image to the left one day! such a bother, such a bother!
So things I’ve been doing? Well, I am officially a graduate now, as I went back to Hull (epic!) for the Graduation ceremony, which involved dressing up like an idiot and walking across a stage briefly. A picture of a less enthused, hair-itching Luckett can be seen here.
I have also been hopping around the country meeting up with friends, which has been great. To do this I have been using the train. My god am I sick to death of trains! There is only so much countryside you can see speeding past you before it begins to drive you a bit mental. Often horrendously cramped and stuck on trains for 3-4 hours in humid, muggy conditions. I just want there to be a big catapault to climb into and get fired to my destination, and land in a big cushion. Trains? Sick of ‘em!
My QUEST FOR CINTIQ 15X continues yet longer, quite infuriatingly so. Several instances where I almost had one, but the devils of “chance and luck” snatched them away. But, dear Luckettopians, there is an adversary. He is always there in an ebay wacom cintiq 15x auction. He is the Cintiq-King, and he has now managed to buy 10+ of them, snatching them right before my nose, infuriatingly. What can a man want with all these cintiqs? Are they the cookies to his cookie monster? Does he feast upon the glowing warmth of the touchscreen monitor and chew upon the fibre optics contently? Or does he rather graft them to his body, every square inch of him available to draw upon, glowing brightly with the hum of a thousand backlit wacom screens? With this in mind after he snatched the 11th cintiq I have watched from my grasp, I drew an encounter between Luckett-X and such a beast.
